Hi!
I faced same problem as many other user: The offset works fine, however the ratio current to target FFP didn't change anything in the output file. Evan extremely diferent FPS valued (25, 20) made any change.
Have you any help?

I have the same problem as Vlad:
Offset works but not changing FPS.
I’m on Mac OS 10.6.5, tried with both Safari 5.0.3 and Firefox 3.6.8.
Any suggestions? Thanks

Dear Tom and Fontana-

For most media players, the .srt file must be located in the same folder and have the identical name as the video file you want to attach the .srt subtitle file to. If your video is named "running_from_danger.avi",
then in order for most media players to automatically load the subtitle file the name of the .srt file must be "running_from_danger.srt" If the name of the .srt file is "subtitle_for_running_from_danger_1982.srt", it will not open in the media player. If you are using VLC, then you can import a differently named .srt file by selecting from menu bar, "VIDEO", "SUBTITLES TRACK", "OPEN FILE", and import a .srt file from anywhere on your computer. Hope that this works for you!

That's exactly my position, Fontana: How to get the downloaded subtitles into my movie. If anyone can give a simple answer I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Hi everyone,

I have a much more simple question. As I have never used allsubs before I am a little confused about how to get the subs that I downloaded into my movie?

Thank you for your help (links to websites with explanation are also very welcome).

John, do you use maybe a download manager like Free Download Manager (FDM)? After many discussions with visitors like you and testing it looks like the sync tool won't work for those using download managers like FDM.
