On DivX Player:
Just burn an ISO CD / DVD and add the subtitle files (.srt format) in the same folder as the AVI / DivX files. USE EXACT the same name for the .srt-file. Example: Matrix.avi and Matrix.srt should be in the same folder. That’s all. In these days allmost every DivX player will play .srt subtitle files.
If didn`t work check:
- The subtitles worked before burning to DVD?
- Will the subtitles work when you play the disc on your PC?
- Will your DVD player play .srt files? (Have you ever viewed .srt subtitles on that machine?)
On PC:
Basically it`s a same thing. Put in the same folder as the AVI / DivX files. USE EXACT the same name for the .srt-file. Start movie and the subtitle will be autoloaded.
Tipps:
To RENAME the .srt-file:
Select the file then choose Rename from the File menu or right-click the file and choose Rename from the context menu. Type new name and press Enter to save the new name.
To PLAY movies with subtitles:
Download and install a media player capable of playing subtitles like BsPlayer, VLC Media Player or MPC (Media Player Classic)

Are you looking for a place from where to buy movie DVDs?
We always recommend you Amazon
They not only have probably the largest collection of movie DVDs
but also movies on VHS
and Video on Demand
.
Just click on the links above and then search for your favourite movie.
If you are from US you can even watch it online at the fraction of the cost you’d pay for a DVD not to mention you won’t have to wait till the DVD arrives via regular mail service to you.

1<==>2 CD converter is a wonderful tool.
Suppose you are in a situation where the movie file you have has 1 CD and the subtitle file you have has come in two parts. Then you won’t be able to see the subtitle for the second part of the movie.
Anyway, using this 1<==>2 converter you can merge both the subtitle files into a single subtitle file.
This tool also works the other way. Suppose the movie file you have has 2 CDs and the subtitle file you have is a single file. Then again you will have trouble in using the subtitle file.
But using this 1<==>2 converter you can cut the subtitle file into two parts.
Procedure to use 1<==> converter:
Now, if you want to merge 2 subtitle files into one, press the button “2>>1 CD”. If you want to spilt a single subtitle file into two click the button”1>>2 CD”
“2>>1 CD”
Click the “browse” button and select the first subtitle file from the “file upload” window that pops up. Click “open” button.
Then click the second “browse” button and select the second subtitle file from the “file upload” window that pops out. Click “open” button.
Then click the “join subtitles” button.
A new link appears. Open the link in a new tab or window. Go to file menu in the tool bar of your web browser and select the option “save page as”. A new pop up window appears. Click the button “save”.
Now the subtitles have been merged into a single file.
“1>>2 CD”
As before click the “browse” button and select the desired subtitle file. Then click “upload”.
Now select the dialogue sentence from the new text box that appears which u wish to set as the first line of the second subtitle file. Also enter the number of seconds after which the subtitle must be shown while watching the movie.
After the process gets completed, two links appear. Open the links in a new tab o window. Go to file menu in the tool bar of your web browser and select the option “save page as”. A new pop up window appears. Click the button “save”. Repeat the process for the second subtitle file.
Now you have got your single subtitle file split into two files.
